PhD Candidate Sadhika Soor Awarded Funding from ADPCCJ
The association of doctoral programs in criminology and criminal justice awarded Sadhika Soor the funding to take two summer stats courses offered by Dr. Andrew Hayes to increase the methodological rigor of her dissertation focused on the link between adverse childhood experiences and delinquency.
Dr. Guerette Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Lead Research in Iceland
Dr. Guerette will be working with the Icelandic Police Commission and the University of Akureyri in developing curriculum for their police training programs related to the analysis and prevention of cyber-based crime.
PhD Student Marcia Diaz Publishes New Research on Stalking Victimization
The study, entitled "Exploring Multiple-Perpetrator Stalking: Victim Consequences of Solo and Multiple Stalkers," was recently published in the journal Victims & Offenders.
Launch Event Held for USAID’s Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Program
On March 30, USAID held the launch event for the FIU-coordinated Higher Education Component of USAID’s Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Program. The hybrid live event for invited Ukrainian press included the announcement of the 14 universities in Ukraine that were selected out of 29 leading Ukrainian higher education institutions that applied to participate in the three-year program.

CCJ Department Faculty Awarded $760K Grant by the Schusterman Family Foundation
The two-year grant will fund the new Community Prosecutor Researcher Project housed at the Center for the Administration of Justice.
